This little
girl's room is done in the
Shabby Chic
style. The walls were painted blue and
custom drapes were made to fit the window
and closet to match the crib bedding.
The fabric sheers are much easier for a
little girl to slide across than the bulky
closet doors that usually protect our
clothes.
The canopy was made from a decorative piece
on clearance at a store. A frame was
made to glue it onto, and holes drilled to
attach the flower heads. Velcro was
stapled on to hold the sheers that match the
other drapery. Smaller silk roses were
glued onto an inexpensive clock to continue
the rose motive on the other side of the
room. Rose drawer pulls found on eBay
were added to the dresser.
