This was a plain
20 x 20 room with mauve walls and white
stucco ceiling. The ceiling was
scraped, but not made entirely smooth as I
knew the texture would add to the cloud
affect. The standard closet was taken
out and drywalled over to make a walk-in for
the room on the other side. The walls
& ceiling were painted 'Utah Sky Blue'.
I used two colours of green for the grass
and flower foliage.

string of flower lights make a great 'night
light' at the top of the valance.

Bed skirt made and sewed directly onto the
boxspring so it doesn't shift. IKEA
leaves hang over the bed like a canopy.
IKEA corner computer armoire makes a great
base for a tree. A frame was made for
the top and silk foliage was stapled onto
the framework. A few stuffed animals
and butterflies hanging around add to the
garden theme.
